The Founding Rabbi and Family
Troy Yosef Fuller was born in Denver Colorado in 1971. After graduating high school from Roosevelt High in Johnstown, Colorado he joined the US Army. While stationed in Schwaebisch-Gmuend Germany he, by God’s grace, became born-again in 1990. The following year he started his training for the ministry through Lee College (now University). Being adopted, he learned in 1991 that his biologic parents are Jewish: Ashekanazi on his mothers side and Sephardic on his fathers. He began to live a Messianic Jewish life in 1993.
Vickie Lynn Fuller was born in Washington DC. After graduating from West Potomac High School she began a rewarding and challenging career in social services in Fairfax Virginia. By God’s grace she became born-again in 1990 and began her training at First Assembly of God in Alexandria Virginia. She met Troy in 1992 and introduced him to Messianic Judaism the following year when both began attending Ohev Yisrael Messianic Jewish Congregation in Newington, Virginia.
The Fullers moved to El Paso in July of 2003. The following Spring Troy completed his studies and earned his ordination and, after much prayer, opened Kehillot Beth Tikvah Messianic Jewish Congregation on Shavuot (Pentecost), 2004.
Troy and Vickie were married in July, 1996.
They have four beautiful children: Hannah, Joseph, Benjamin, and Joshua.
