Kehillot Beth Tikvah is a Messianic Congregation of both Jewish and Gentile believers in Y’shua "Jesus" of Nazareth, the Messiah. Located in El Paso, Texas, our heart’s desire is to reach both Jew and Gentile with the Good News of Messiah Y’shua and to help the Christian Community reclaim their rich Jewish Heritage. Consistent with the tenets of Messianic Judaism Beth Tikvah maintains a Jewish identity, heritage and culture that reflects the faith and practice of the first-century Jewish believer.

The logo of Kehillot Beth Tikvah is a gold lit menorah with a silver Messianic (Christian) fish wrapped around it’s base. A twisted cord, one end red the other white, drapes the arms of the menorah. All of this is set against the parchment of a scroll.

The menorah represents both Y’shua (Jesus) and the Jewish people and reminds us that Y’shua is the Light of the world (John 1:1-5) and that we as His people are called by Him to be His lights in a dark world as well. In the four central joints of the menorah, where the arms meet the center stand, the Hebrew letters "yod, sheen, vav, ayin" can be seen, spelling Y’shua’s name.

The silver fish reminds us of the ancient symbol of those who first professed faith in Y’shua two thousand years ago. The Greek word for fish, IXTHYS, became an acronym used by Y’shua’s persecuted followers to identify each other and stood for "Jesus Christ God’s Son Savior". The fish is wrapped tightly around the base of the menorah reminding us that without Y’shua we cannot know God the Father (John 14:6-7).

The twisted red cord changing from red to white reminds us that God, through the shed blood of Y’shua, is able to forgive all of our sin if we but surrender to Him admitting our need (Isaiah 1:18, I John 1:9).

The parchment backdrop reminds us Y’shua is the Word of God (John 1:1), our foundation, our focus, and our hope. He is God in the flesh.
