Who we are
Kehillot Beth Tikvah is a Messianic Congregation of both Jewish and Gentile believers in Y’shua "Jesus" of Nazareth, the Messiah. In Hebrew "Beth Tikvah" means "House of Hope" and signifies that Y’shua the Messiah is our only hope for living a fulfilling and abundant life.
Consistent with the tenets of Messianic Judaism Beth Tikvah maintains a Jewish identity, heritage and culture that reflects the faith and practice of the first-century Jewish believer. Our study and teaching is centered on the Jewish scriptures, consisting of the Tenach (Torah, Prophets, and Writings) as well as the Brit Chadashah (New Covenant). We study the scriptures from a Jewish perspective, recognizing that they were written and preserved by faithful Jewish men of God. Beth Tikvah worships on the Jewish Shabbat and we observe the Biblical Feasts and Holy Days of the LORD. Our worship service combines traditional Jewish Blessings, Messianic Jewish Worship and Praise, and Davidic Dance. Above all, we emphasize in our congregational experience a living, vibrant and personal relationship with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob through the Messiah Y’shua Who is God in the flesh.
Our heart’s desire is to reach both Jew and Gentile with the Good News of Messiah Y’shua and to help the Christian Community reclaim their rich Jewish Heritage. Kehillot Beth Tikvah is an independently incorporated congregation affiliated with the International Alliance of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues (IAMCS) and the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America (MJAA). We are an organization financed solely by members and friends of the congregation.
